Micro Cement

A cement-based decorative coating with a fine aggregate. Applied in a layer as thin as 2-3 mm, it goes over the existing floor without disturbing door and furniture levels.

The aggregate in micro cement is finer than in micro concrete; the result is a smooth, almost textureless matt surface. Because the layer stays around 2-3 mm, a renovation does not disturb the gap under doors or the line of the skirting.

It can be applied over ceramic, marble and screed without demolition, which is why it is preferred when refurbishing spaces that remain in use. In wet areas it is made waterproof with the appropriate primer and top coat.
